Oluwaseyi Makinde has emerged the candidate of the Oyo Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2019 general election.
Makinde, on Sunday, emerged as the gubernatorial candidate of the party as its primary election held at Obafemi Awolowo Stadium (formerly Liberty Stadium) Oke Ado, Ibadan, the state capital.
He scored 2,772 votes to defeat his rival in the race, Senator Hamzat Ayoade Adeseun who got 21 votes in the result of the election announced Sunday night.
