Eventfully, the campaign movement, which took off from Iseyin to Ado-Awaye, yielded a positive result in Okeho of Kajola local government where some members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) openly declared their defection to APC.

On his arrival in Iseyin, the prospective Oyo State governor was received and accompanied by Hon. Shina Peller, the Oyo State Commissioner for Works and Transport, Alhaji Oladimeji Dauda and other APC chieftains to the palace of Oba (Dr.) Abdulganiyu Adekunle Salau, Aseyin of Iseyin.
