Stoke City supporters have applauded Nigeria international Oghenekaro Etebo for his brilliant showing in the side’s first win of the season in the English Championship.
It was the second time Etebo made the starting line-up for the Potters, who defeated Hull City 2-0 on Saturday, with James McCLean and Mame Diouf netting the goals.
The Super Eagles midfielder bossed the midfield, an effort resulting in his naming as man of the Match.
And the Championship club thought it was in order to seek their fans’ takes on Etebo’s outing by putting up a poll on their Twitter handle for them to vote for their most impressive player between Etebo, McClean, Saido Berahino and Cuca Martina.
Etebo won with 52 per cent of the over 1,000 votes.
“@etebo_karo gets your vote for #MOTM during yesterday’s win against @HullCity. 52% of you voted for the talented Nigerian,” the club tweeted.
