Teachers Recruited By Oyetola Beg Adeleke For Reinstatement

Not less than 1,500 teachers recruited by ex-governor Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola on Monday made an appeal to the current Governor, Ademola Adeleke, to reinstate them.

The teachers were recruited by Oyetola towards the end of his administration but got suspended by Adeleke when he took over as governor in November 2022.

The teachers, made an appearance at the venue of the May Day celebrations and also joined other workers in the state for the ceremonial march past.

They are armed with a large banner with the inscriptions: “Forum of 1500 Newly Recruited Teachers In Osun State felicitates with Our Dear Governor and Osun State Workers on this occasion of 2023 workers’ day,”

The inscriptions on the banner further read, “We are very hopeful to join you soon. Our dear Governor, Please attend to our plight. The journey of over two years isn’t a child’s play. Moving Osun State forward is our priority.”
