Uzodinma Beats Okorocha’s Son-In-Law, Picks Imo APC Governorship Ticket

Senator Hope Uzodinma has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) Imo State governorship election ahead of the 2019 elections.

Uzodinma beat Governor Rochas Okorocha’s in-law Uche Nwosu to land the party’s ticket for the general elections next year.

The lawmaker grabbed 423,895 votes to take the party’s ticket in the election held on Tuesday in the SouthEast state.

On the other hand, Nwosu came seventh with 10, 329 votes, according to the result announced by the returning officer Ahmed Gulak.
