We Warned APC Against Giving Imo Governorship Ticket To Uzodinma – Nwosu

Uche Nwosu

Imo State governorship candidate of Action Alliance, AA, Uche Nwosu, yesterday said that he is prepared to team up with the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the battle to win what he described as his mandate at the tribunal.

Nwosu disclosed this in Owerri, adding that power has left him temporarily. He said he has gone to the tribunal where he raised pertinent questions as it regards the outcome of the just concluded governorship elections in which Emeka Ihedioha of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was declared winner.

Nwosu who was Okorocha’s former Chief of Staff also called on Nigerians to commend President Muhammadu Buhari for being neutral in the 2019 general elections. Imo people celebrated Okorocha’s ouster, not Ihedioha’s victory — Oshiomhole aide “Let me start by telling you that President Muhammadu Buhari was neutral during the 2019 elections, he did not interfere in the elections.

It was very clear to all of us. He allowed Nigerians to vote according to their choice. If it was the time of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, they would have taken all the states, we are happy it is Buhari and not the PDP.

“The national leadership of the APC made a mistake by not giving the party’s ticket to me. We warned them against giving the ticket to Hope Uzodinma but the leadership of the party ignored our warning. The outcome of the elections has justified us. “We joined the AA two months to the election and I won the governorship election if not for the manipulations.”
