Cleanness is next to godliness seems to be what Dr. Oniyia and Segun Sodimu, Managing Director at Next Micro Finance did recently in Ajah when Next Micro Finance in collaboration with Waste buzz Recycling led a team of volunteers to clean up Ilaje Area of Mobile Estate
Despite her status as a doctor and a socialite Dr. Oniyia was down to the knees doing the cleaning and she says thereafter “We are not relenting in our effort in making sure Lagos is full of dirty and ranked as one of the cleanest city in the world”
She also stated that the exercise will not be limited to one particular area even though she stated that it will be done quarterly, it is not all about looking good yourself, but your environment have to reflect on your personality we intend to be doing this frequently; The 2 organizations have come together in their efforts to promote sustainable development and give back to the communities in which they operate.”
