It was all glitz, glamour and paparazzi when the wife of elder brother of veteran film maker, Gbenga Andipe, Ibidun Andipe celebrates her golden year last week Sunday, at the imposing SEE Center (Ivory Hall) Sangotedo , Ibeju Lekki, Lagos
It was an elaborate celebration that had Nollywood star actor Segun Arinze, as the Master of Ceremony, who never failed to lighten up the atmosphere with his rib cracking jokes which was mild enough to draw applause from the guests and also from the husband of the celebrant Edward Andipe, who will later eulogized his wife
“My wife has been so wonderful, very caring and loving if I am to live my life again, I will like to spend my entire life with her again. We have been married for 25 years now and still counting. She is a blessing to me”
Speaking after the colourful celebration that also had many important personalities present, the celebrant mother of five children: including a set of twins and three other children could not say much as she was full with emotion
“What can I say than to give God the glory for letting me witnessed this golden stage of my life? It is not everyone that is privileged to celebrate golden year, but God made me to witness it. I also thank my loving husband who has been there for me all these years. I also thank those who took their time to be here to celebrate with me”
