Wizkid, Tekno, Davido, Don Jazzy, Olamide, Bugzy Dvinci, Others Win Big in KREA2020 Awards

As the unforgettable year, 2020 rolls by, and musicians still found a way to soar above the obstacles, The Kulture Records Entertainment Award KREA2020 is celebrating musical giants namely Patoranking, Wizkid, Tekno, Davido, Don Jazzy, Olamide, Bugzy Dvinci, and others in a Recognition Award.

The KREA2020 award in its first edition seeks to celebrate African artistes and their relevance to global music and ability to put African continent on the map.

According to the organisers, The Kulture Records Entertainment Award tagged KREA2020 emanated from The Kulture movement which was founded in 2018 to acknowledge and encourage an African oneness among talented individuals in the continent and beyond. It successfully hosted International & local sold-out concerts, tours, beach parties & boat cruises and in appreciation of African talents in diaspora and on the continent with the singular objective of promoting the nexus of creativity in Africa.

Afrobeats which is a distinct sound/genre has found its way into the global sphere of creativity with other cultures, paying tribute to the African motherland by way of affiliation and promulgation of a movement that holds sway in the creative industry of talent.

“The Kulture Records Entertainment Award (K.R.E.A.) is not just literally conceptualized as it encompasses the encyclopedic body of work by Africans across the globe, hence the term ‘records’. In lieu of its vision, it stands to celebrate and encourage the African movement basically tagged #ForThekulture which has found footing among popular hashtags on the world-wide-web and social media platforms.

2020 being an eventual year filled with a lot of happenstances has seen the ‘Kulture Movement’ garner support from business moguls in the global entertainment industry which necessitates the need to create the KREA,” says Alex Ozone, the founder.

KREA 2020 despite the obstruction in the entertainment and music industry, decided to specially award these artistes with a worthy recognition award that would go on to open doors to more African-based global recognition awards.

According to organisers, these Awards especially KREA 2020 would pay homage to the motherland, promote & discover talents and also new categories of awards which has never been mentioned because we are all in contribution FOR THE KULTURE of Africa.
