Bandits Attack Hospital in Southern Kaduna, Six Killed, Nurses and Patients Abducted

In a tragic incident, gunmen suspected to be bandits invaded a hospital in the Kallah Afogo Community of Kajuru Local Government Area, Southern Kaduna, late Sunday night. The attack resulted in the deaths of six individuals and the abduction of several others, including nurses and patients.

Eyewitnesses reported that the bandits stormed the hospital around 11:15 p.m., opening fire and causing chaos. Among those killed were Garkuwa Alfarma, Buhari Maidiga, Uba Auta, Yakubu Gaku, and Atabata Naallah. One local resident, who attempted to pursue the bandits, was also killed and his body mutilated.

The bandits did not stop at the hospital; they also attacked nearby homes, abducting more residents. The exact number of kidnapped individuals remains unclear, but the community is in a state of panic and mourning.

Local authorities have called for increased security measures to protect the community and ensure the safe return of the abducted individuals. The Kaduna State Police Command has yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.
