Ronaldo Nets Four In Saudi League Game

Cristiano Ronaldo netted four goals in the Al-Wehda versus Al-Nassr match on Thursday, scoring his first hat-trick in Saudi Arabia and passing 500 career league goals to put Manchester United exit behind him.

Ronaldo’s four goals in the 4-0 defeat over Al-Wehda handed three points to Nassr and took them to the top of the Saudi Pro League.

It was Ronaldo from start to finish as he scored two goals on each side of the half-time break. This took his goals tally in the league to five.

According to a sporting website, Fan Nation, Ronaldo found the net for the Saudi Pro League title favourites 21 minutes into their away game at Al-Wehda.

He produced a clinical low finish with his left foot after being set up by Abdulrahman Ghareeb.

Ronaldo had scored 311 league goals for Real Madrid, 103 for Manchester United, 81 for Juventus and three for Sporting Lisbon.

This was Ronaldo’s second career goal for Al Nassr after he had converted a late penalty in last week’s 2-2 draw at Al Fateh.

He did not perform his famous “SIU” celebration last week because his goal was not enough to help Al Nassr win.

But he treated fans at the King Abdul Aziz Stadium to his trademark celebration routine in full.
