What does it means to be Godly?

It means behaving like God, any parent who will train up their children in the way of the lord must possess the attribute of God. From the Scripture we are made to understand that God is love.

1John.4.8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Every parents are expected to train up their children with love.

What is Parenting?

Parenting means the process of training (raising and educating) a child from childhood to adulthood.

Prov.22.6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

The paramount way a child ought to grow is the way of the lord in other words the way of righteousness, right standing with God.

John.14.6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The only way that can secure the destiny of every child is Jesus.

The destiny of your children is expected to be wrapped in Jesus i.e being secured by Jesus.

There is a way (destiny) for every child, in which it is the duty of the parent to seek the face of God for, right from the conception of the child, because if you don’t do that and allow your child/ Children to go in line with that way, confusion may occur.

How To Secure The Destiny Of Your Children As A Parent.

1. Introduce God to them early in life. 1 Samuel 3:13, 1Samuel 3:7
2. Speak blessings into their life. Exodus 14:15
3. Allow God to have his full course in their life. 1Samuel 3:9
4. Be a worthy and Godly example unto them.
   John.13.15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
5. Show love to them i.e train them in love. If your child act in a wrong manner immediately correct him/her because a child that refuse the training of his/her parent will be trained by law enforcement agent in a pitiable manner.
