2023 HAJJ: Female Pilgrim From Kano dies in Saudi Arabia

A female pilgrim from Kano State, Hadiza Ismai’il died while performing Hajj in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

The 58-year-old woman, died on Monday about 3:15pm Saudi local time after a brief illness.

Hadiza was rushed to NAHCON hospital for treatment when she was down with a fever, and was later transferred to King Abdulaziz Hospital, Makka, where she was confirmed dead.

The female pilgrim from Kano is now buried in Makkah, after a funeral prayer for her in Ka’aba Mosque.

The Director-General, Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Laminu Rabiu Danbappa confirmed the tragic incident.

On behalf of the state governor, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, Rabiu condoled with the family of the deceased

He prayed that the Almighty Allah grant the deceased eternal rest (Al-jannah Firdaus).

He also prayed that the Almighty Allah grant the family members the fortitude to bear the great loss.
