Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe State has said Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State was on a “sabbatical leave” at the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Sokoto State governor at a press conference on Wednesday returned back to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Reacting in a post on his Twitter page, Dankwambo also welcomed the defection of the APC National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi.
He wrote: “I wholeheartedly welcome back two of our finest men Tambuwal and Bolaji Abdullahi who went on ‘sabbatical leave’ to the All Progressives Congress.
“Glad you are finally back home.Power to the People.”
